How To Properly Rear a Litter Seminar

Posted by on September 24, 2013

Highly experienced breeder and Certified Dog Trainer Bethany Tracy will be holding a seminar strongly focusing on properly raising and naturally rearing a litter of puppies. This will be an awesome seminar for any and all breeders, aspiring breeders, or for those who just want to learn more about raising a litter of puppies. In this seminar we will go over:

– Early Neural Stimulation
– Weeks 0-9 of a puppy’s life and what they need to experience to become a well rounded dog, based strongly on how The Monks of New Skete raise their puppies (Bethany Tracy had the previlage to spend 3 days with the Monks of New Skete learning about their puppy raising program)
– How to properly potty train a litter of puppies
– How to start puppies off on crate training
– How to naturally rear a litter of puppies (pros of feeding a litter of puppies a 100% raw diet, as well as pros of limiting which vaccines your puppies are exposed to and at what age)
– Temperament testing a litter of puppies
– Socialization of puppies
– Handling of puppies
– The importance of exposing your puppies to stress and stimuli properly
– And much much more

This will be a 6 hour long seminar, with a lunch break in the middle (lunch not provided). There will be plenty of time for questions and answers, many packets and material you will be able to take home, as well as video and hands on examples (there should be a litter of 2-3 week old Bernese Mountain Dog puppies that will very lightly be used to examples). This is a seminar you don’t want to miss!
